We asked you last week whether or not you wanted us to post about Wing Bowl 18, one of this city’s towering monuments to shame, self-degradation and low culture. Not surprisingly, more than half of you said yes. WIP just released the complete list of eaters, along with their home town and their qualifying event for this year’s competition. As you can see, many of them are proud to call the Philadelphia area home, and even more of them bear special talents that will create a major debate for their families when it’s time to compile info for their obituaries. Wing Bowl takes place on Friday morning, and we are currently scrambling to put together some coverage in what will surely be a failed attempt to act like we care about this bullshit. Wish us luck!
