Dept. Of Tattoos That We Are Not Secretly Laughing At Every Time We See You: Steve Powers’ Limited-Edition “Love Letters” Jawns
We mentioned last week that the “Love Letters” project, by artist Steve Powers aka ESPO, has got to be one of the coolest things the Mural Arts Program has ever been involved in. We stand by that statement, and we also wanted to hip you to this crazy project that Powers will be doing in February, whereupon he’ll be taking over Northern Liberties Tattoo for a week and issuing nothing but Powers-penned flash art that can be converted into tattoos. Powers promises that, in addition to converting some of the images from “Love Letters” into flash art, he will also be drawing lots and lots of the unofficial bird of Philadelphia: The pigeon, of course.
