SEPTA Plans For WiFi In 2010

septaSEPTA has announced plans to make wireless internet available in some form come the year 2010. They did not reveal details much beyond that; they did not say in what services it would be available or even if it will be a free. According to this article in today’s Metro, SEPTA’s primary concern is making the system work without fail once it is established. Hahahahah, just kidding! From our perspective, seeing the word SEPTA alongside WiFi leaves us with an ominous bad taste. No real reason. No reason at all!

I prefer the doughnut fumes on the Amtrak platforms. Especially thick around 9:30 pm on warm summer evenings when one drives through the underpass on I-76.

An elevator at 15th Street would be a sensible way to move our transit system boldly into the 1970s.
