Although nominally a dispute about per-subscriber pay rates, the --issue has echos of the whole CSN Philly-isn't-on-satellite issue. To further cloud the issue is a recent ownership change which added to DirecTV's corporate arsenal at least three "Fox Sports Net" channels, including the Pittsburgh outlet. While still brandishing the on-air FSN name and logos, these new DirecTV Sports Nets may become leverage in the Comcast/DirecTV battles.Hell, if it wasn't for local sports, I'd pretty much be done with subscription TV anyway. Even my "Good Eats" addiction has ebbed lately.

Flying under the radar regarding Versus is Comcast’s current pissing match with DirecTV, which has led to Versus getting yanked from their lineup by DirecTV.
