Went to the station today at 8th and Chesnut. Guy in the booth was building a puzzle, went to the other side to buy tokens from the machine (cause there isnt a token machine on the east side and puzzle guy isnt allowed to sell me tokens) and the woman in the booth was knitting.

Everyday more and more people should stop there and check in and ask them how the puzzle is coming along.

I never understood how someone who collects dollar bills & coins all day can’t hand out change?

Congrats CEF – just make sure you stay off the sidewalk with your new bike.

To be fair, ALL – it is SEPTA policy to not give out change at these booths. I’m still mad at TWU though. The fact that they continuously milk the budget isn’t going to help the implementation of Smart cards or the purchasing/repair of necessary token machines.

I love puzzles. One of my favorites is the one where SEPTA booth employees have all this money in front of them, coins, bills, etc. but can’t ever make change.

What’s the newfangled machine there with all the buttons that have numbers? Also, the windex and brown paper towels are pretty neat. I guess that’s because Bobby Boothguy spilled an orange soda last night when he was playing his PSP. As far as I can tell, the only thing a subway booth needs is a body there, and nothing else. All they ever do is tell you they can’t make change, and shit, maybe all you need is a sign.

The strike encouraged me to buy a bike for a cool 3 hunny, and I must say it’s the best investment I’ve made in years.

OH COOL!! I’m gonna put a puzzle together at my job and then ask for a raise, better benefits, etc and threaten to (continue) not work if I don’t get what I want.
That should work out real nice, I’m sure.
