The Fire Shut Down By L&I; Slated To Reopen Today
It’s been a rough month over at The Fire/Philadelphia Bar & Grill: After a harrowing incident earlier this month, the Girard Avenue bar and music venue found itself shut down by L&I earlier this week. Neighborhood scuttlebutt indicates that the shutdown was due to a “public nuisance” complaint, but according to Fire booking agent Derek Dorsey, that’s not quite the case. Dorsey cited some electrical code violations, but also told us that The Fire is slated to re-open later today.
UPDATE: Shut down until further notice.
