Readers Write: So Much SEPTAFail, You Just Have To Laugh

SEPTA (which has a brand spanking new website that links to Google Transit (which still doesn’t, of course, have bus times)) has their Transpass refund info page up. It ends:“Customers receiving passes through Employer Programs or through Pre-Tax mechanisms must submit their pass by mail to the following address to receive credit.”
Of course, no address follows.
Ahhhh. Hahah. C’mon, son.

If you click on “Regional Rail” under Choose Your Service goes to a nice tidy page that says “Regional Rail” but nothing else. Same with Trolley Lines. hooray!

The funny part about Google Transit not having bus info for SEPTA is that it’s only because SEPTA hasn’t given them the data yet. I remember emailing SEPTA 5 years ago to ask why they weren’t on Google Transit yet. A month later they replied with: “We’re not ready for that at this time.”

When they originally put in the rail, subway, and trolley lines in June, they said they were planning on having the bus information together by “later this year.” I’d be shocked if we saw it this year, but who knows.
