Update: Philly Eco-Ponzi Schemers Ordered To Slowly Back Away From Anything That Looks Like Old People’s Money

knorrwraggThis just in: Philadelphia Business Journal is reporting that a federal judge in Denver has ordered Temple grads Troy Wragg and Amanda Knorr (pictured) to halt operations of their Bala Cynwyd, Pa. company, Mantria Corp.. immediately, following an SEC investigation over whether the pair had bilked investors out of $30M via an elaborate “eco-ponzi” scheme. The judge also froze the company’s assets. Meanwhile, here at Philebrity, we’re awaiting vacation photos of the two (please God, let us come to find out they took the money and went to Hedonism or something) and notifying Edward Anderton and Jocelyn Kirsch that they’re off the hook, finally. Philly now has lamer people who might have stolen even more money than they did.
