Pwned: Cole Hamels’ Call Of Duty 2 Spot Pulled By Game Company Because, Oh Wow, It’s Homophobic (And Also Retarded)

This moment in Bullshit Cole Hamels Endorsements: Mr. Heidi probably thought he was being all edgy last month, when he did the voiceover you hear in the viral promo video above for the game Call Of Duty 2, what with all its grenades this and “What the fuck that?” But as usual, Hamels had no idea who he was, what he was saying, or what it was all for, and now, the clip/endorsement on behalf of the acronym-friendly “Fight Against Grenade Spam,” has been pulled by Infinity Ward, the game’s developers. Now if somebody could only find something extra-special-offensive in those Comcast Broadband ads this chump did, we’d be getting somewhere. But you know, leave us these at least, if only to serve as reminders. Of what, we have no idea. We just know we need to NEVER FORGET.
