I want to know what a FedEx truck has to do to get towed. Park on a baby? FedEx and UPS trucks get ticketed everyday and the companies pay and don’t care because it’s just the price of doing business in a city. Does the photo taker know what the truck did?

Too many tickets on this one particular truck (note ticket under wiper too), plus they wouldn’t let him take his packages off before they towed him. They told him he could pick it up at the Delaware Ave lot.

That’s pretty fucked up. Some people’s jobs could depend on those packages getting there on time.

I agree, it’s outrageous. I hope there was something in there for Mayor Nutter or better yet the president of the PPA.

i agree its kinda f’ed up to tow the dude, but then again tickets don’t work and some people’s lives could depend on getting down the double-parked maze on Chestnut Street in under 45 mins.

I think the final version of the TWU-SEPTA contract was in there, and that is why the press conference was called off today.

Also, a lot of people’s lives depend on being able to cross into an intersection and be able to tell whether or not cars are coming, which they often can’t do because those fucking delivery trucks are parked illegally and blocking the view of oncoming traffic. I’d love to see PPA two these guys more often.
