Threat Of SEPTA Strike Going Limper Than Brad Lidge, And Fast
Here’s the thing: Over the weekend, the story of a threat of a SEPTA strike in the middle of the World Series went national; CNN, AP, LA Times, and on and on. This was the precise moment when these knuckleheads should have gone on strike, if they truly wanted to smear shit all over the walls and really show you that, you know, this is what people who work for SEPTA do, yo. But instead, and going a long way towards proving that SEPTA workers can’t do anything right, even when they’re acting purely out of delusion and self-interest, they promised not to strike during the world series. And so it goes that SEPTA is back at the bargaining table, and there’s probably not gonna be a strike — especially with Ed Rendell looming over it all, threatening to royally screw both sides if they can’t work it all out. In summation, they’re getting there. Ahem.

“…smear shit all over the walls…” Was that a Dirty Protest/H block reference?
