· All week long, just across the hall from our office, NY artist Jason Hackenwerth (the dot-sized man you see above) has been assembling and installing his latest show, The Titan & The Fireflies; we don’t really wanna spoil it for you, but suffice it to say that the show is just about ready, and it is quite unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The opening reception is tonight, and there’s some time-lapse footage of Jason’s process here. You can also see the work tomorrow night at the Making Time Halloween Party with Simian Mobile Disco, which is going to be absolutely kooky. In any case, don’t miss The Titan & The Fireflies — it’s utterly delightful.

· Once again, Philebrity is looking for interns. Recently, the grueling pace and demands have left several young twentysomethings on the side of the road, wondering if they’ll ever be able to love WordPress again. · And sadly, our first-ever proper ad rep — and Lord, how is proper — Kristian Almgren will be relocating shortly, and we’ll miss him so. And not just because we enjoy drinking during the day with him. Kristian will be staying on in some capacity, but it won’t be enough; as such, Philebrity is once again in need of an ad rep, and a GameCube buddy. Get at us the same way, and the whole recently-unemployed-or-under-employed thing goes double for this spot.
