Reminder: You Have Just Three Days To Find The Raddest Benches In The City, And Sit On Them

With the rain set to finally let up tomorrow so we can all get back to some sweet, sweet Simon & Garfunkel-esque autumnal walking in the city, ApartmentTherapy reminds us that, as a leftover from DesignPhiladelphia, those awesome C.H. Briggs Corian Bench Inventions are still stationed at various locales throughout the city. The benches, made of DuPont’s Corian thermosetting plastic (a high-tech material which loans itself quite nicely to any weird shape a designer can imagine) will remain at the following locations through the 31st:
Schuylkill Banks Park: On the river banks between Cherry Street and Walnut Streets
Chestnut Park: 1707 Chestnut Street between 17th and 18th Streets
Three Parkway Plaza: 110 North 16th Street between Cherry Street and Arch Streets
Like The Fonz said, sit on it. Heyyyyyyyy.
