Oddly, We Opened This At Exactly 4:20PM: Ape School’s “Wail to God”

Philly band Ape School teamed up with likewise local animator Anthony F. Schepperd for this clip, which, according to Ape School’s publicist, is “a primitive and psychedelic onslaught of lust, joy and desperation, as an ape man fumbles his place in society with primal compulsions.” Which is weird, because that really is exactly what it is. Sidebar: Has anybody else noticed Philly bands totally upping their music video game lately? Applause.

    These poor lads are cursed: The name “Ape School” is far too good for any band to even remotely live up to.
