Dept. Of Taking The Bait: Shut Up, ACORN
Here’s the thing about the Gotcha Culture that persists in most political discourse today: It only works if you care (or pretend to care) about the one who got you. So when ACORN responded to the now-infamous GOP pimp-and-ho sting that is now your uncle’s sterling example of how the blacks and the poors are Bad, Bad People by a series of handwringing and self-flagellating PR moves, it would only stand to reason that this might increase the bleeding. Now, as a result of the completely fucking dumb actions of two employees, ACORN has lost partnerships with the IRS and the Census Bureau, and the hits keep coming. And you could argue that it’s all because they took the bait and played the game with the Glenn Becks of the world, who completely ignore that for nearly 40 years, ACORN has been helping the helpless. And why? Because the helpless are not white. So when we got an email for “The ACORN I Know,” a forum to be held this Saturday afternoon at the House of Prayer Episcopal Church, our blood boiled a little bit. Not because ACORN is not worth the public support and testimonials from the many Philadelphians it’s helped over the years — it absolutely is — but because the nature of the event is so deferential. ACORN is allowing literally the dumbest human beings on Earth to lead the debate about itself, and that’s just not right. There must be another way.

If you take out the politics for this, its obvious that the “two bad employees” in Baltimore were part of a larger problem, especially since the Washington, DC office did the same thing. I doubt ACORN as a whole is a problem, but there are problems with the organization that need to be worked out. I think you’re delusional if you don’t see that.
The CEO needs to realize this, state it won’t stand, and move the organization from this point and lead it towards a brighter tomorrow for them.
Take out the race aspect and you have a more realistic truth: Some idiots in the Republican party hate the poor, and the party itself was built around wealth after Lincoln. Plain and simple truth.
Now the CEO of ACORN wants to sue the film makers for what they did, and really, they’re digging their own grave here. I want ACORN to stay around and help the poor, but I also don’t want them giving advice on how to cheat the IRS, among other things.

Acorn is a Marxist organization. As such,it deserves to be flushed down the same shitter as Obama.
Here is a novel approach to poverty, bearing in mind that over a trillion dollars have been spent on the “war” on poverty… Get a fucking job and stop pumping out illegitimate kids.
