City Council basically never met to come up with another plan, he’s raising the Sales Tax to the same amount it is in Los Angeles and New York City, and his plan had something illegal in it (shutting down the courts?).

Its hard to say that Nutter, himself, actually got this done. It seems more and more like nothing more than political posing by the law makers, and Nutter going there may have helped.

At the same time, he isn’t saying he’s going to look for more cuts because this plan isn’t going to last that long and come next summer I wouldn’t be shocked if we’re in the same situation again.
