Someone Famous Went Somewhere Once: Pat Croce At The Gypsy Saloon
I had lunch at the Gypsy Saloon in the borough of West Conshohocken, PA around 11:45 am today, and Pat Croce was at the table next to me, along with what I assume was a business partner/employee. A third man stopped by their table to say “hello” and discuss recent business plans, investments, family issues, etc.Pat was talking about a business venture he is working on with Lockheed Martin, who are developing sensors that will detect cracks on airfoils and other equipment, send real time data via WiFi to monitoring stations, and be powered by their own solar power generators.
I wondered how Pat went from massaging the pulled groins of surly Flyers players, to batsh*t crazy Sixers executive, to pirate fetishist and Key West enthusiast, to Philadelphia’s own Hank Scorpio.
We wonder about this all the time, too. So far, the closest we’ve come is: DIANETICS.
Do you know of Someone Famous Who Went Somewhere Once in Philadelphia? We don’t care, but we’ll humor you. Send your tips and pics to tips[at]philebrity[dot]com.
