Someone Famous Went Somewhere Once: Paul Rudd Filming At UPenn

youtastelikeaburgerWe’ve been closely tracking (stalking) the goings on related to the mysterious Untitled James L. Brooks Project, and now we are hearing about One More Place Paul Rudd Has Been. A reader, who also happens to be a proud former math major, wrote to tell us that Paul is currently filming inside the David Rittenhouse Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania. Apparently the crew needed a “physics lab with real physics students” — this comes up a lot at Philebrity, too — and decided to eschew Drexel for the fancier digs. In the meantime, we’re keeping our eyes peeled until we spot Mr. Rudd sitting on a bench in Rittenhouse Square, pensively writing in his “gournal.” (Although we did spot him giving himself what appeared to be a sobriety test at 2AM last Thursday night outside of Parc — true story — so I guess, yeah, close enough.)

Do you know of Someone Famous Who Went Somewhere Once in Philadelphia? We don’t care, but we’ll humor you. Send your tips and pics to tips[at]philebrity[dot]com.

You are the first person who has ever called david rittenhouse labs fancy. I know it as Penn and all, but it is a real dump.

The Rittenhouse Laboratory, in spite of the fancy-sounding name, may be one of the most hideously ugly buildings in Philadelphia – it’s far worse than most of the buildings on Drexel’s campus:

That photo doesn’t even do the building’s monstrosity justice.

Truth, I hated having classes there. The interior looks like it hasn’t been maintained since 1969.
