Now is the time of the week when we remind you that Philebrity Happy Hour @ OCTO is just 24 hours away! (That would be every Friday from 6-8PM at Octo Waterfront Grille.) Last week was the first installment, and it couldn’t have been a sweeter time. We thought we’d show you a bunch of photos of how nice it was in the hopes that you’ll come and join us tomorrow. Sometimes people need to see things in order to realize how sweet they are. Above, our friend Fiona is probably talking about how awesome boats and water are, while Dave is talking about… the same thing. Dea is texting a friend to say a similar thing. Actually, it’s a mass text disguised to look like a personal text, but she’s staying on message. Octo people are like Birthers or Deathers that way, except they do it near boats.

This is the sky above Octo last week. The sky will also be there tomorrow, and we hope like hell it’s in as good of a mood as last week.

Our friend Kyle — different Kyle than DJ Kyle Miller who, by the way, is promising lots of Yacht Rock tomorrow — was so moved by what a nice time it was that he just started hugging people. Actually, Kyle always does this. He’s got a lot of love.

This is the Octo Lounge, and it was packed last week. Sweeney’s mom called it “The Hipster Playpen,” but that sounds more derisive than it is. Sweeney’s mom also had a fantastic time, and she’ll probably be back this week. If you come, please do not make this any more awkward than it already is. Topics of conversation Sweeney’s mom enjoys: “Dog walkers,” “girls’ trips,” and “When is Sweeney gonna make some babies already?”

Here’s Phoodie.info contributor Collin Flatt, probably talking about smoking weed with cab drivers in Belize or something equally Hunter S. Thomps-ian. As you can see, only males are listening to him.

This is the Octo Lounge bartender Toni, who totally ruled. She’ll be there tomorrow. We tried to become Facebook friends with her, but forgot her last name. She makes a mean dirty martini.

This gentleman, Tom, is the first of our friends to realize that we were going to post his picture on Philebrity along with a caption saying he was thinking about something that he wasn’t thinking about at all. Above, Tom considers whether or not he should tell the others and decides that, no, this is Sweeney’s mess. Let him comp-people-drinks his way out of it.
