I honestly think we are on the same amazing echelon. All the Philly spots mentioned are bumpin, but people often overlook what the burbs have to offer. Gaetano's in Clifton Heights is that grade A crack quality make em say HANH pizza. It reigns supreme in my book.Oh and whoevs tossed in their spin on the Kenny Powers quote might be my favorite person ever.

@ Chicago: wrath. first Kanye West and now this.

Chicago’s pizza and eats are delicious. There are local joints other than Lou's & Geno's East that serve amazing deep dish - go to the Art of Pizza and you'll know what I mean.On the whole, though, you just can't compare the East Coast stuff to the Chicago stuff. Deep dish is a pizza PIE in every sense of the word. Brooklyn and good Philly pizza is emphasizes flavor and quality ingredients. I like them both?

it’s Pizza Wars up in here.

Having grown up in Chicagoland, deep dish pizza carries an air of nostalgia for me.
