@Timo: So? Who cares that the charges were dropped? All that means is that he didn’t even get punished for punching his wife in the face! Vick at least went to prison, though I tend to agree with people who think he should have done more time.

The charges against Bret Myers were dropped, at the request of his wife. They continue to live together. You can’t say the same things about Vick the dogs.

Can I an amen for mcknappers’s question above regarding the hypocrisy of some of the complainers who are big Phillies fans? I don’t think you want me to ask: is punching your wife more okay than murdering dogs?

There have been plenty of professional sports players that have really effed up, and guess what, some of them have played for our beloved Philly teams. You don’t have to like every player or hey, even the coach, but don’t make your fairweather fan status so GD obvious. Anyone bothering to “protest” this decision is an idiot–believe me, there are more important things in the world to get enraged about.

Should be fun. Lots of cool trick plays. I think they will use him mostly to run the ball and occasionally do a trick pass. Should be great to watch.
