Fun With Crime Blotters: Let Me Guess, You Hate Your Parents

On Sunday, 08/09/09, 4:40 PM, a male and female were observed using chalk to write on the steps of the synagogue, 418 Spruce St. the #s “666″ and “Hate Satan”. The offenders were described as #1-white male, 20’s, unshaven, wearing a dark T-shirt, with cut off sleeves, carrying a skateboard, #2-white female, 20’s, scruffy looking, no further information. The chalk appeared to be removable.

It’s funny: This is the first time we’ve even thought about Surf Nazis Must Die, since we stayed up late one night in 1989, all hopped up on Dr. Pepper and Tastykakes, to watch it on Night Flight.

    Hate satan seems pretty positive to me.

    I remember that movie when I was a kid. Like many Troma (sp?) movies the title was the best part. Toxic avenger had lots of boobs though.

    “The chalk appeared to be removable” line is hilarious as if we’ve seen permanent chalk somewhere before.

    There are some little kids who draw with chalk on my block. I should probably call the police on them too.

    666 may not be the original Number of the Beast: some scholars think it was actually 616.

    And Satan really isn’t all that evil. He’s just a tacky geek who reads too much Ayn Rand.
