Cops Get To The Washy-Washy Just In Time To Catch The Guys Who Are Trying To Rob The Washy-Washy
In some kind of ribald old-man-in-a-bar joke come to life, three guys who’ve been running around robbing “massage parlors” (was there ever a time in history when a massage parlor was simply just that?) got caught trying to do a job on a Chinatown rub-n-tug, when someone inside managed to call 911. A SWAT team showed up, because that’s what you do when there’s trouble at the washy-washy, and all three perps are in custody. Let this be a reminder to you all: Though goodness surrounds us in this life, there’s nothing that can stop things from going down at the washy-washy.

The Daily News couldn’t resist it, either, “Employees at a Chinatown massage parlor who were rubbed the wrong way early yesterday by a trio of robbers received a happy ending when all three suspects were apprehended by police.”
