And Now, Today’s GOOD NEWS: L.A. Car Wreck Hero/Good Samaritan Is ONE OF US
The local ABC affiliate in Los Angeles on Wednesday ran this story a good samaritan who, rather bravely, jumped into the fiery car wreck at right, to successfully rescue a little girl before the car had a chance to fully explode. Pretty cool, right? Well, Philebrity is proud to tell you that the hero was none other than Philly boy John McDonald. McDonald grew up in Bryn Mawr, and has had a cabinetry business in the L.A. area for some years now. As the dramatic story went viral over the last few days, McDonald’s family and friends had the strange experience of seeing the film clip and thinking maybe, just perhaps, this was their John running into that fiery car and doing heroic things. Yesterday, McDonald confirmed via Facebook. It was indeed him! So rad.
So there you have it: The world is not totally made of shit. Have you got some good news? If so, send it to tips[at]philebrity[dot]com with “GOOD MOTHERFUCKING NEWS!” in the subject header — we’d love to hear about it.
