This just in: We’re hearing that several axes fell at Philadelphia Weekly today. In addition to outright layoffs (tally not yet confirmed), there were also announcements of pay cuts and employee furloughs. Sad. Our condolences go out to the PW-ers right now; we regularly rag on PW like it’s the town pump, but it sucks to see any more media folks lose work these days. Ad reps, get at us: We’re still looking. It’s not much, but then again, these days, nothing is.
