Dept. Of Shut Up: Dom Giordano Calls Philly “The Capitol City Of The Birther Movement”
To understand why exactly we’d like to punch Dom Giordano (pictured) in the dick right now, you first have to understand what birthers are: They’re the wingnuts who don’t believe Barack Obama is a documented American citizen and thus, is not legally eligible for the Presidency and is therefore holding America under siege, against its will, and we’re pretty sure this was in Revelations (in the Mutedly Racist Whackjob Bible, that is). OK. So. Giordano — who, as we’ve stated before, is this washed-up, once-kinda-OK Philly talk radio guy who is now a soulless Limbaugh parrot and proud we are of him! — went on the Lou Dobbs Mexi-hating Happy Hour TV Show and crowned himself King Shit among The Birthers. Which would be fine enough in a “Hey, dig your own grave, Obsolete Old White Fucker” kind of way, but no: He dragged the City of Philadelphia (who, btw, OVERWHELMINGLY voted Obama) into it all, going on about how the Birther Patient Zero Phil Berg rolls straight Philly, yo. Fuck this guy. Fuck these people. And to see how a real Philadelphian handles the birther issue, check out native son Chris Matthews go even ape crazier than I just did. Stay with it, it’s worth it.

The Kommunist Kenyan is not an American citizen.True Americans will not see him as one until he produces a birth certificate. That of course will not happen because there isn’t one.

Sorry to say it, but Matthews was way out of line. I don’t see why a candidate should not be required to prove his citizenship before taking office.

One of the arguments these people make is that Obama’s birth certificate wasn’t filed until a week or so after his birth. I was born at HUP, and I recently looked at mine; it wasn’t filed until about 2 weeks after I was born.

When Chris Matthews is on top of his game, he’s a joy to watch. The other 80% of the time, I want to gag him with a spoon. The birthers? I want to gag all of them with a spoon 100% of the time.

The whole birther thing is insane to me. First, for Obama to not be a natural born citizen there has to some sort of super multi-level conspiracy to keep this information from surfacing that starts at the lowest level of the Hawaiian records department and goes all the way up through our federal judiciary. Seems unlikely and probably impossible.
Second, even if it turned out to be true that Obama was not a natural born citizen could you imagine the rioting and total population freak out if an elected president was forced out because of what is basically a technicality? I assume the founding fathers were worried that England would try to get one of their guys in power in America when they added that clause. I don’t see Obama as a tool for Kenya to take over the US.
Third, if Obama was kicked out wouldn’t Biden just be the president, so who even cares? Biden could just turn around and apoint him to whatever position he wanted or could just make up a position and we would pretty much be in the same place anyway.
