    Jennifer Weiner was reviewed favorably recently by the New York Times in an article by Janet Maslin entitled The Girls of Summer.

    @Allan Smithee: Yeah, reviewed as part of “12-pack” bundled overview. The Times doesn’t do that to the likes of Zadie Smith, only to “buy ‘em by the bulk” fiction.

    Yeah your right. On the other hand, if you’re an author I’m sure it’s a big boost when you’re mentioned in the Times even if it’s in a “12-pack” bundled overview.

    Regardless, won’t be reading any of the books mentioned. The bundled packs I purchase usually have many more pictures and a lot less words.
