The Wein‘s new book, Best Friends Forever, won’t be out until July 14th, but you can probably write it in your brain in about ten minutes right now:

And while the surname “Downs” just might make the protagonist the most appropriately named Jennifer Weiner character ever, that’s not even the saddest part: The Lady’s got hubby/Cute Boy Alert alumnus Adam Bonin already whoring himself out on Twitter for pre-release buzzy clickbait. Adam’s got his own battles to fight, but please join us in voting for anything but Weiner on Entertainment Weekly‘s “I Must Hide This Book Lest People Think I’m The Sad Office Old Maid” poll. Hmm, Richard Russo! You don’t say!
