Can We Get A What-What For That Unholy THUNDER This Morning?
Far be it from us to sit around and talk about the weather, but really: Did you get a load of that loud-as-hell, balls-to-the-wall, heavy metal thunder this morning? It was, for us, the best thunder in a very long time. It blew out electricity all over the place, it screwed up SEPTA and some flights, and — we must be honest here — woke us up in such an ostentatious and scary way that we thought, just for a second, that it could be end times.
That sure was some good thunder.

Yet it didn’t screw up the Impaler’s morning jog. It waterlogged and slowed the pace a bit, but it was awesome.

I was doing the NBC10/Fusion Cross Training Biggest Loser Philly Challenge Boot Camp at Segar Park, and they made us work out in the rain and lighting!! Made good TV they said. If the camera’s weren’t there I would have been screaming like a girl as I ran towards cover. (There were a lot of cute girls doing the wet t-shirt thing so it might be worth watching for them (none of them need to lose anything)
