Advance Warning: This Friday, Enjoy Sunset With Us

This Friday, Philebrity.com is teaming up with our new home base, 2424 Studios, and Weathervane Music Organization, a new non-profit music organization from Philadelphia whose goal is to improve the state of music in our society, while improving future career potential for the great independent artists making music. (Find out more by signing up for the Weathervane email list here.)
We’ll be talking with record producer/Weathervane executive director Brian McTear a little later in the week about Weathervane, whose first project is called the Weathervane Music Project Series, a curated collection of new audio and video recordings of great independent artists with like minded producers and engineers. Austin, TX’s Sunset is one of the first bands to work on a Weathervane Music Project, and they’ll be joining us on Friday evening for this special, limited-capacity RSVP-only show. To RSVP, email ihopeiwin[at]philebrity[dot]com with “WEATHERVANE” in the subject header. We’ll be sending out confirmation emails daily, and let you know when the list is filled up!

the song sounds great, but booking this particular band on the same night as The National’s show may not have been the best idea…

It’s not bad news to those of us who’ve seen enough of the National. And it’s around the corner from my house. Nothing wrong with that!
