Jennifer Weiner’s Dearly Departed Cosi About To Become New Haunt For Non-Existent Race Of Society Hill Mommybloggers
Remember how sad chick-lit titan/sage of the universe Jennifer Weiner got when her cute little neighborhood coffee shop — um, it was a fucking Cosi, Jen, are you really so friggin’ middlebrow that you thought this was some little Central Perk that just popped up for your own discovery? — shuttered its doors and forced her to write among the unwashed at some dirty non-chain? That was awesome. Also potentially awesome: Stephen Starr has snapped up the lease on the spot at Second & Lombard and now plans to put something in there called “Pizza Select.” A Starr pizzeria? We’ll save the analysis of that move for the eggheads at Phoodie, but on the civic plane, this is pretty much good news all the way around. As you know, South Street is bleeding businesses like a sieve, and even though this isn’t on South — we suspect even Stephen Starr is not impudent enough to challenge Lorenzo — it’s close enough. Best of all, Weiner will finally have a place to write her Lane Bryant Fantasy Fiction in peace. See, Jen? Dreams are made of wishes!

Haven’t we all been driven out of the confines of our coffee house/writing space and been forced to seek the nearest Cosi’s at some point in our lives? Oh wait, that was just me. http://tiny.cc/qMTka

Message from Hadas, who knows how to use a tape recorder, not so good with signing up to Philebrity. She doesn’t realize you’re still suffering from something bigger than us.
Subject: Hi!
Thanks for sending me that link! Philebrity got it wrong, though. It’s gonna be called “Pizza Select” not “Select Pizza.” I would’ve left a comment, but it’s like cracking the davinci code to register for that thing.
When are we sunbathing on your roof??? :)
