Film Fest Picks: Goodbye Solo

Set in the rural town of Salem, North Carolina, a happy-go-lucky cab driver is left as a moral agent to decide whether to talk an old man out of suicide or take the money the old man has given him and do as he’s told. Goodbye Solo is incredibly poignant, bleak, and yet beautiful as it shows with all its honesty, the complexity of keeping a secret and keeping a promise. On Friday, Marty Moss-Coane interviewed the director of Goodbye Solo, Ramin Bahari. Listen to it here.
