As a Tyler Grad, and a working artist, i have a little advice for you kids of all schools. Any one who thinks another artist or art school has the wrong idea for having a “holier than thou” attitude needs to wake the hell up and get one them self. You need to think you are the best at what you do, and have a bit of a swagger to make it as a full time artist. I’m not saying be cocky, but be confident. And lets be honest every major art school in the US not just philly thinks they are the best. So lets stop fighting with each other, and lets pick a fight with Pratt. Any takers? :)

As an employed Tyler School Of Art graduate, may I say I don’t get this? Whatever happened to getting blunted, stealing a Star Crunch from the gas station and mailing it in during Monday morning studio crits? This shit smacks of serious effort.

That being said, them’s are some well constructed cardboard horses. I had no construction skillz. I would’ve turned that in as a project.

Everyone chose to go to their chosen art school for their own reasons. It’s unfair and arrogant to say that any school is any better or any worse.

As a UArts student, I found the prank to be kind of amusing, and really shouldn’t be taken so seriously.

I’m actually more appalled at this trash talking of each school.

If you attend any of these schools, realize that you are in a college, and you aren’t in high school anymore. So please stop acting like you don’t have your high school diploma.

Everyone I know that goes to, or attended, Tyler has a “holier than thou” attitude and thinks they’re a gift to their trade when they most certainly are not. Also being that they are apparently so much more creative than these other 4 schools couldn’t they have produced an original idea rather than ripping off a staple of the Odyssey?

How unfortunate Tyler feels so threatened. I guess that’s why they see themselves at the bottom. Perhaps when these children grow up to be adults they will realize talent comes from within, not the name of your school.
