fyi – there are union guys hanging outside NBC10 right now handing out anti-management fliers because of all the changes they’re implemeneting there

Ruh-roh: While the Electricians Local Union #98 I.B.E.W are not striking yet, they could be soon. Back in November, the Union had already voted to strike if contract talks hit a stalemate. At issue: Charges that NBC10 is trying to do away with senior union employees, and the recent shared newsgathering between NBC10 and Fox29, in which we suppose the union guys are the only ones getting hurt, since all local TV news in Philadelphia is the exact same kind of shitty. Will tensions boil over? We’ll see. Click on flyer to enlarge.

    I have never had any sort of contract anywhere I’ve worked, so it’s difficult for me to get riled up over this.
