Judge In Inky Chapter 11 Proceedings May Be A Space Morph Of Tierney Himself

btpodHere’s a little note to gourmands and lovers of WTF and irony alike: There is nothing so strange and beguiling as reading about the Inky’s bankruptcy hearings in the Inky. In fact, if we may paraphrase the Inky’s old sales pitch, it’s best to read it every day. Take today’s amuse-bouche: The federal judge presiding over the hearings, Judge Jean FitzSimon, is a kind of bankruptcy sommelier herself. In fact, before she was a judge, she was a prominent bankruptcy lawyer, steering Sears Roebuck & Co’s bankruptcy proceedings in 2000. She was so good at it that people accused her of cheating. What are we trying to say here, exactly? Oh, nothing, except that this whole shebang is going to be quite a spicy meatball.

Judge FitzSimon,if you had really done your homework, has over 15 years of incredibly impressive bankruptcy law credentials. Her reputation is one of high integrity, very intelligent, quite honest and fair. So don’t go around casting aspersions on her honesty-you look like a complete idiot!

By the way, I thought a journalist was supposed to report the truth and check their facts before writing the article above!! Sears never declared bankrupcy in 2000. Judge Jean FitzSimon was Vice President of their Legal Dept. and was responsible for overseeing all their compliance issues. So your statement above is a LIE & WRONG as to someone’s quote about “she was so good at it people accused her of cheating.”SHAME ON YOU FOR SUCH LIES AND STUPIDITY!! Your statements aren’t worth crap!!
