Readers Write: Philadelphia Weekly Now Deleting Comments Simply On The Basis Of Whether They Like Them Or Not

Looks like PW is deleting criticisms from comments pages on today’s wildly myopic, first-person Cover Story. This one was posted earlier and was down last I checked.seriously…who is this article supposed to relate to?? arts and entertainment…are you guys nuts???
This is the best you could do with an entire city full of things to cover! An 18 year old pregnant girl isnt news, or entertainment, so what the heck was the point of this article? She doesnt even go to temple anymore!…..Are you out of staff writers, so your pawning your job off on a teenager? There were a few mean-spirited posts and some personal reference about the writer too.
Just seems odd. I get taking down a personal attack, but it seems pretty shitty to just leave up the most positive responses save for two. [On the other hand] it is kind of nice when the masses point out the bed-shitting, thereby freeing you folks up for the afternoon, no?
We didn’t read this story because we already saw Juno and we already requested to be shot in the face once today (see post below). But to answer your question: Well, it is nice, and we have enjoyed the free time — we just ate the BIGGEST bowl of ramen like EVER — but Good God, the chockablock stupidity of everyone who works at PW is finally just starting to bum us the fuck out. Anthony Clifton, cut your losses and just kill the fucker off already. Honestly: It’ll save you from the humiliation when we finally get around to doing that post about how you guys are almost definitely, hilariously lying to potential advertisers about your web traffic (page 10).
