City To Everyone: How Many Cards Am I Holding Up?
There are, increasingly, what we shall call these “McFly Moments” within the Nutter Administration; moments when you’d like to knock on the noggins of all present (hopefully at least one of them has a slick hair helmet that makes the great sound that George McFly’s did) and say “Helllloooooo, you’re the Mayor’s office now, McFlys!” This is just such one of those moments. Back in the days when Dude’s Admin was young, the city had stated six core goals in its budget. As part of the PhillyStat program, the City even had cards printed up with the goals on them. But when PhillyStat convened yesterday, whoops: The list of goals was cut to four. Citing a shift in language — the goals of “sound finances, safe city, smart population and excellent service” are more or less an edited version of the original six — Managing Director Camille Barnett pondered the cards: “They’ll have to be reprinted,” she said. Good thing we have a lot of money lying around.

4) excellent service
Don’t know about the streets where you live in Philadelphia but my neighborhood has definitely been strewn with more garbage/litter the past month or two.
Did the City cut down on street cleaning?
