There won’t be a Foggy Notion party this month — we’ll be back in March for sure — but please join us on Sunday February 8 at 8PM at Kung Fu Necktie for a show we are honored to be presenting. The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart are an NYC band we’ve been geeking out on for about a year now, and if you love The Primitives, The Jesus & Mary Chain — or even current bands like Peter, Bjorn & John — you will love them. (Check out their “theme song” above; after some truly great seven-inch appearances, the band’s debut album is out February 3rd on Slumberland.) The bill is rounded out by Brown Recluse Sings — a Philly band you should absolutely check out if you haven’t yet — and The Depreciation Guild from NYC.
