This Stella show on Sunday night at the Keswick Theater could well be a primer in the past, present and future of the alt-comedy genre. David Wain, Michael Showalter and Michael Ian Black, of course, got their start in MTV’s late, great The State. But since then, they’ve appeared individually on too many TV shows to name here, and have also been behind movies like The Baxter, Wet Hot American Summer and more. Wain’s latest is Role Models. With the Zelig-like Eugene Mirman opening (seriously, we see this guy everywhere we go), Stella headlines the Kes on Sunday. And we’ve got tickets.
