There’s nothing like getting the Xmas tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving or very shortly thereafter. They actually last longer the sooner you get them home and stick them in a base filled with water.
Anybody else set up an electric toy train set around the base?

I got my tree at this place last year, and the only tip I’ve got, is make sure you trim the bottom branches BEFORE you bring it in the house. What a mess.

There was a lot set up on Grant Avenue near the Boulevard this past Saturday. But the trees were missing or sold out. I’ll go with missing.
