Readers Cameraphone: Phils Parade Already Devolving Into Just Another Foggy Goggle Morning Breakdown At The Irish Pub

These people are crazy. Rumor has it that there have been people out there since 6:00AM. Irish Pub has a sign out that it opens at 9:00AM. Rufinol, breakfast of champions? And now some kids have started playing whiffle ball on the empty lot next to Blue Cross. At least 100 people out there now.

    I rode my bike down Broad to Chestnut at 9:00 this morning and it was aleady totally packed. People gave me high fives as I rode by.

    This is great. It’s about damn time that lot was put to a good use. I propose the founding of a Whiffle Ball Civic Organization that seeks to take the property via adverse possession and turn it into a permanent whiffle ball field.
