Don’t lie: When Phillies pinch-hitter Matt Stairs approached the mound last night, you were like, “Why, I’ve never seen this man before in my life!” But props are due this morning — everything about that home run that he belted straight into the cheap seats indicated that, once and for all, you’d no longer be confused about this strange man on the Phils. That shit was righteous. Matt Stairs, our bad. We promise to get to know ya.

In all fairness, Charlie Manuel played a big role in making us forget about Stairs. He always seems like the last option off the bench, even after Taguchi and Coste.

Philebrity ran with the Phillies logo all season last year. Their sports coverage is half way decent.

@AquaBoogie That’s two seasons in a row that Dobbs got a solid f-bomb on TV. It also happened when he congratulate Werth on scoring a run in that critical 11-10 win over the Mets in the ‘07 campaign.
