Rumblings: Indie Film Edition
>>> Things are really ramping up for Philly’s first-ever U.S. Sports Film Festival. With the fest slated to open on October 23, a bunch of new films have just been announced: The Zen of Bobby V, a documentary about Japanese baseball told through the eyes of former major league, and current Japanese League, manager Bobby Valentine; Truth in 24, about the grueling 24 hours of LeMans, shot by NFL Films’ Keith Cossrow; and Gunnin’ For That #1 Spot, former Beastie Boy Adam Yauch‘s chronicle of eight of the country’s top high school hoopsters.
