Being the responsible mongers and promoters of free stuff that we are, we’d be remiss not to mention in advance that the Free Night of Theater 2008 is coming up on October 16. Some of the shows are already sold out, but check with the Theater Alliance site to see what Philadelphia shows are on offer, and what tix are available (we just spot-checked and at least a few shows still have seats open).

Conveniently, if you’re busy on the 16th, there are some other free nights of theater as well, if Fringe didn’t exhaust your patience for the stage this fall.
