In case you missed our gushing introduction to Scottish noise/doo-wop/pop saviors Glasvegas last week, let us say it again: Their debut Philly gig is at the North Star Bar tomorrow night, and we could not possibly be more pumped. This is a band that we’ve been stalking on MySpace for the last two years, downloading any morsel they drop, and well, we’re superfans and we haven’t been this excited about a new band in a long time. Maybe it’s because they remind us so much stuff we already love (Phil Spector/Jesus & Mary Chain/Teenage Fanclub), or maybe it’s because the way all that stuff swirls around makes something new and exciting.
