This Evening: The Salad
>>> I’m guessing with this wonderfully bleak fall weather, you probably don’t need much encouragement to stay in this evening. But I’d be remiss if I didn’t tell you that a Mad Men marathon is starting on AMC at 4pm and running until 11 or so. Just saying.
>>> However, I’ve also been checking out this band Throw Me The Statue, and they really are Corduroy Rock of the highest order. So they will match your Wes Anderson disposition today as well. They play Johnny Brenda’s with National Eye and Drink Up Buttercup.
>>> But wait, there’s more! Artist Anthony Campuzano guest DJs at Foreign Service at 700 (which would seriously hit the spot right about now); as noted yesterday, Cut Copy is at The Troc; the Duffed Out video premiere is at the Megawords Storefront at 7pm; and Broadzilla Classics (whatever that means) is at Barbary. You have no excuse not to do whatever the hell it is you feel like doing.

I love this line: “You have no excuse not to do whatever the hell it is you feel like doing.”
