Call Up Your Friends And Get Out Your Flask! There’s FREE TRAIN-RIDIN’ On Friday Night!

Why are we just so, so excited about the fact that, this Friday, SEPTA will offer free travel after 6:30 p.m. on all of its Regional Rail Lines this weekend to commemorate its new late-night service? Is it because nothing says “fall” like tumbling to and fro yonder (h)Ardmore before or after the indie rock show? Is it because the whole ’90s sweet nostalgia vibe that started when we saw The Wackness during the summer is now bleeding into the autumn months? Or is it just that we’re turning into train geeks? Well, shit: Why don’t we just ‘fess and say, “all of the above?” Thanks, SEPTA. Maybe you’re not completely useless after all. Real talk, tho: Try to take my modern hobo flask and I will cut you.

double wow. free rides on SEPTA, it’s going to be chaos. And the best part, NJ Transit is providing students with a FREE COUPON too!!

I just might make it home to visit the fam for free!

Septa loves patting themselves on the back for their new late night service. Keep the trains running until at least 2, and then maybe these schedule changes would be worthwhile.

Also, they only added late night service on selected regional rail lines, so R3 riders are just as screwed as they’ve always been if they want to be out in the big city after midnight.
