Interesting Facts About Interviewing Michael Cera and Kat Dennings
Yesterday, we sent our own Ruthie Carpenter out on one of those press junket things for this movie Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist, which was actaully pretty cute. We’ll have video up of the interview next week or something (the movie’s not out until next month), but in the meantime, here is what we gleaned about the cult of Cera (And The Other One):
1. Michael Cera is really really small. Like a child.
2. For some reason the movie promotion company thought we should interview them right after Lori Wilson. Lori is also really really small. Like a child.
3. Overheard from a handler: ” The paparazzi chased us all morning, they were very aggressive and it was scary.” Hughe? Back off baby.
4. Kat Dennings is from the Main Line, was home schooled and still has family in the area. She also makes a lot of YouTube videos.
5. Michael Cera is not this funny in person. (See video above.)

At this point, all I’d like to know about Michael Cera is whether or not he broke his laptop and/or cell phone when he comically slammed his backpack down at the beginning of the q&a at the Bridge.

Damn I was just wondering when I started reading this how come I didn’t know about these people coming to town; I guess being published in Phila Style Mag, The Metro, The Inquirer, Us Magazine & that other place this week hasn’t paid off with the right connections yet!!
I feel so like Patti LaBelle circa 1989 when she sang “If You Don’t Know Me By Now” – LOL
