Really. We pay our taxes and the rest of the city gets all the love. Not fair. We certainly don't want some crummy casino either. It's bad enough that Philadelphia Park is so close. If we Neastie beasties are in the mood to gamble, we'll try our luck crossing Roosevelt Boulevard on foot. We're already plagued with neck tattoos, pajamas worn as outerwear, and, God help us, a 99 restaurant. Not all of us are racist and we even recycle now! So really, give it a rest. Go bother Manayunk for a change and let us enjoy our Funions and box wine in peace. And for the record, should we ever stoop to anthropomorphize a neighborhood, Mayfair would spank Rittenhouse.
