I figured this was the best place to post this, since, you know- dogs and cats are both pets. Anyway, yesterday my cat was shot with a BBgun/mini crossbow type weapon and our vet says that this has been happening all over the city. Keep a close eye on your pets, and if you see any kids with this type of gun, please let me know.

I really hope that Dr. Dog doesn’t end up like the Hooters.

Pitchfork spews a bunch of utter shite, but they happen to be right on about Fate. Dr. Dog are nice guys and I was really hoping that, despite their album, they were a great live band. Well, someone has to say it – they’re a craptastic yawn who can’t pull off their harmonies in tune.
And what’s with the fedoras?

Dino-
You are full of shit, my friend. The harmonies on this clip sound pretty good to me, nor have I ever had problems with their harmonies any of the three times I’ve seen them.

Quartertones, man, quartertones. They’re rough. Maybe it’s the audio quality, maybe their monitors sucked, whatever. I wouldn’t even care about intonation if (a) it wasn’t such a conscious and integral part of their sound and (b) they weren’t so boring.
